Description

Digital TENS machine, designed to be user-friendly with a large liquid crystal display and easy-to-press buttons. It is specially crafted for individuals who struggle with smaller dials or displays. TENS, which stands for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, is a natural and non-invasive therapy that utilises low-voltage electrical current for pain relief (see below for more details).

Our TENS machine offers 32 stimulation modes for pain relief and muscle training. It includes an EMS mode, which aids in muscle re-education and helps prevent or slow down disuse atrophy. With 5 adjustable TENS modes, 3 adjustable EMS modes, and 24 professional presets for both TENS and EMS, you have a wide range of options to customise your therapy.

Please note that this product is not suitable for use with a pacemaker or other personal medical devices. We strongly recommend consulting your healthcare professional before using it.

The pack includes:

1 digital TENS machine unit
1 USB-C charging cord
2 electrode leads
4 self-adhesive electrodes (pack of 4)
1 instruction manual
1 hard plastic carrying case
Replacement electrodes and leads are readily available.

What is TENS all about:
TENS, or transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, is a therapy that employs low-voltage electrical current for pain relief. The TENS machine, about the size of a pocket radio and powered by a small battery, is connected to your skin using two electrodes. These electrodes are usually placed on the area of pain or at pressure points, creating a circuit of electrical impulses that travel along nerve fibers.

When the current is delivered, some individuals experience reduced pain. This may occur because the electricity from the electrodes stimulates the nerves in the affected area, sending signals to the brain that block or disrupt normal pain signals. Another theory suggests that electrical nerve stimulation may trigger the production of natural painkillers called endorphins, which can inhibit pain perception.

The TENS machine allows you to adjust settings such as wavelength frequencies (steady flow or bursts of electrical current) and intensity. These settings are typically determined by your physical therapist, acupuncturist, or doctor. Once you receive proper introduction and instruction, you can perform TENS therapy in the comfort of your own home.
