The Immedia 4WayGlide LPL Patient Adjustment Mattress / Nylon Sheet is available as a set, with a choice of single or triple lock feature (sold separately). Two part system, neither component should be used as a standalone product.
The Immedia 4WayGlide LPL Patient Adjustment System facilitates and supports patient turning or positioning in bed. Ideal for those with reduced mobility or pressure issues. The 4WayGlide LPL mattress needs to be combined with the Immedia 4WayGlide LPL Nylon Sheet which provides an ultra low-friction surface for smooth transfer or movement in all directions and to improve safety during patient positioning. The nylon sheet attaches to the mattress with elastic straps for a secure fit. Handles on the inside of the mattress improve hand grip and allow for attachment to a hoist. 4WayGlide LPL Mattress variations: Polyurethane Mattress: The underside of the mattress provides an exceptionally low-friction surface for movement in all directions when combined with an Immedia 4WayGlide LPL Nylon Sheet. The mattress top is constructed from polyurethane, a highly waterproof material that repels liquids. Polycotton Mattress: The mattress top is a combination of polyester and cotton, which creates a highly comfortable and firm mattress. The underside of the mattress provides an ultra low-friction surface for movement in all directions when combined with an Immedia 4WayGlide LPL Nylon Sheet.
4WayGlide LPL Nylon Sheet variations: NylonSheet with Non-slip sides: Highly durable nylon sheet with PU-coated edges to prevent slippage. NylonSheet with Lock and Non-slip sides: Constructed from supple nylon for maximum durability and flexibility, with PU-coated edges to prevent slippage. This version has a "lock-on" feature to ensure firm attachment to the bed mattress and enhance stability. NylonSheet with Lock (Single Lock): Nylon sheet with the "lock-on" feature to ensure firm attachment to the mattress and enhance stability. NylonSheet with Lock (Double lock): This nylon sheet utilises two polyurethane-treated locks to secure the sheet in a fixed position. This allows for superior security when assisting patients with more advanced injuries and degenerative motor neuron diseases. NylonSheet with Lock (Triple lock): Constructed from durable nylon with a triple polyurethane treated lock feature to ensure the sheet stays rigid and fixed onto the bed mattress. - Wiping: PU mattress and Nylon sheet can be wiped clean with a cleaning cloth
- Tumble drying: low temperature; max. temperature 60 °C
- Ironing: low temperature; max. sole-plate temperature 110 °C without steam
- Do not dry clean
